Hello, I’m Todd. A Father. A Friend. A proud Kansas Citian.
Many of you already know me as a good man, a single father, a loyal friend, and someone committed to my family and community. Or maybe you have not yet met me.
I created this website because I’m dying due to kidney failure. I need a donated kidney in order to keep living.
I have lived a clean life, yet I have still succumbed to health circumstances beyond my control that are catching up with me quickly and lethally.
At 55 years of age, I have had an amazing life! I have lived my version of the American Dream and am extremely grateful for all the opportunities and experiences I’ve been afforded.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle was my home throughout childhood. I moved to California to attend Santa Clara University, and my life became all the more fulfilling as I pursued this stage of adulthood. After graduating, I worked for Netscape, one of the very first internet browser companies in the world.
I went on to move to the Caribbean island of Curacao, where I was one of the first people in the world to write software for internet sports prediction markets. Following years of success in that venture, I settled down in Kansas City and have resided here for over 20 years.

In Kansas City I have been working with iLink Technologies, a subsidiary of Goodlife Innovations, as VP of Development for over twelve years. At iLink I manage a development team that is responsible for software that is used to support adults with developmental disabilities and senior citizens who need assistance.
Kansas City has been very good to me. I raised my daughter as a single father here and the Midwestern values and community has provided an excellent base of support for both of us. I feel lucky to have made my home here.

I enjoy being active: I love Yoga and taking long walks outdoors, often throwing the ball for my 10 y/o black lab until one of us gets worn out! However, I am unable to be as active as in the past because my life has been absolutely upended.
I face constant daily challenges as a home peritoneal dialysis patient, which can be overwhelming at times. I am in need of any help anyone can give. I have been a fiercely independent man for all of my adult life, but now I cannot continue without the kindness and generosity of others.
Specifically, I am in dire need of a Living Kidney Donor. If you can help me with this, or share my story to make this happen, I will be eternally grateful!
